Grade 7 - Design Process - Stage results

The project has very few requirements, and even fewer things to work with; hold up 50lbs 3 inches from the ground for 5 seconds using nothing but a manila folder and 24 inches of masking tape. Below are some of the best results so far from the EVEN cycle.

Robotics Week 8th Grade Activities

The 8th graders began National robotics week with a quick inventory of their Lego Mindstorm boxes. Once completed they started building their first robot to complete a series of driving tests. 

National Robotics Week - April 7 - 15

For the week of April 7 - 15 the SMS Engineering / Technology Department at Somerset Middle School will be celebrating National Robotics Week with projects for each grade from software, to hardware to looking into the history of where it all began.
