The 6th grade students in Mr. Falcon's class have begun learning how to create a full scale drawing.
To 6th graders in the following sections -
We have begun to learn how to measure in inches. Following that first step, we will move onto creating full scale drawings.
Make sure to bring pencils and erasers in order to be prepared.
To 7th Grade
Learning about the Design Process project has begun. Students will research, design, build and test a Balsa wood tower. To see just one of the many ideas check out the video.

The 7th Graders are working hard at their Design Process Stages. Here are just a few of the stages presented for testing.

To all 6th grade students in sections 11 through 14
Students will learn how to measure down to a 1/16" accuracy. Which will then get them started on the next project covering Full Scale Drawings.
Students getting some time away from their chrome books and using their hands for something other than typing.
Woodshop and Bridge Building projects.
As you can see from the picture, many 6th grade students are now building the towers they have designed. Once completed testing will begin. Stay tuned.
