Grade 6 - All Full Scale Drawings are now Due

To all Even section 6th graders.

Grades are closing this Thursday so all three full scale drawings are due by Thursday the 7th of April. If you need extra help or extra time all students are welcome to arrive for study.

If you have any questions get them answered ASAP by speaking with your teacher.

Grade 7 - Design Process - We have a new record

Sometimes it's just best to let the picture do all the talking, so here it is.

In this case this wasn't the full result. The stage held more books but it collapsed before we were able to take a picture. This stage has really set the bar high so it will be interesting to see if anyone can challenge this results.

Grade 7 - Design Process results continue to roll in.

Grade 8 - Introduction to Web Design using HTML5 and CSS

To all EVEN section students

Schedule permitting, all 8th grade students will be starting their first Web Design project using HTML5 and CSS.

The project has the students coding up their home page for their very own virtual Pizza Restaurant. The students will gain an

introductory understanding of a very simple web page and how to modify both the HTML code and the CSS file. All coding will be using the program called NOTEPAD++.

All students should be sure to save all work to both their assigned PC and to the school's network drive.

Grade 7 - Design Process project - Testing has begun.

With the design steps now completed students have begun to build their prototypes and so far the results have been very good. Below is a picture of one of the stages holding alot more weight then the project called for. 

Please keep in mind the only thing holding up all those weights and books is just one manila folder and 24 inches of masking tape. Here are some additional photos of stages both with and without their owners.

Grade 8 - Database Project #2 is Now due.

To all Even Section 8th grade students.

The second Database project is now due. You needed to have watched the video, and then complete the Challenge using the project website's data. Once completed you will need to turn in 2 screen captures.

1. Showing the correct results
2. Showing the query which includes the correct name, table and query criteria.
